Director of Programs & Operations
In addition to running the entrepreneurial programming at Lever, Brent focuses on finding and coaching entrepreneurs that are seeking to fund their startups. Prior to Lever, Brent led a team of consultants at MassMutual that employed Lean Startup methodologies to accelerate innovation. Brent holds an M.B.A. from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and is an 8-year veteran of the U.S, Marine Corps.
Brenna supports programs and operations at Lever. Prior to Lever, she managed programs at Southern Appalachian Wilderness Stewards. A passionate resident of North Adams, she is excited about supporting economic development and growing entrepreneurship in the Berkshires. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Ohio Wesleyan University.
Alex leads Lever's Destination Metrics economic development research project, aimed at helping local businesses understand how visitors move throughout the Berkshires. Alex graduated with a B.S. from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
Program Director, Berkshire Business Interns
Huff develops college student internships at growing businesses in Berkshire County. This economic development program increases workplace skills and provides a hiring platform for businesses. An entrepreneur himself, Huff understands the needs of business owners and has managed dozens of student employees. Huff holds degrees from Arizona State University, The Thunderbird School of Global Management, and The University of Maryland.
Jeffrey founded Lever in 2014. He focuses on fundraising, community engagement, and startup funding. His career began in scientific research which led him to biotechnology and entrepreneurship. Jeffrey holds a B.A. from Wabash College and M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from Indiana University.
